Public transport and other transport links
There are several Metrolink tram stops dotted in and nearby the area - including the Salford Quays stop on the Eccles line and the MediaCityUK tram stop.
You can also travel from MediaCityUK to Manchester city centre by bus via 50 towards East Didsbury which will stop at Manchester Art Gallery and Portland Street in Manchester city centre.
Salford Quays also has access to M602/M60 for motorway connections and the A56 takes you into Manchester city centre.
Primary and secondary schools
The Salford Quays area offers several primary schools and high schools that have achieved Ofsted results ranging from 'Requires Improvement' to 'Outstanding'.

With the areas strong connections to the TV and theatre industries, Salford Quays is also home to Footlights Theatre School & Academy located on Kansas Avenue.
Hospitals and medical practices
Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is located on Stott Lane is a approximately a 15 minute drive from the heart of Salford Quays and Manchester Royal Infirmary on Oxford Road is also a 15 minutes drive away.
And it would take an 18-19 minute drive to reach Saint Mary's Hospital or Royal Manchester Children's Hospital - both situated on Oxford Road.
Residents with access to private health care are also in close proximity to Oaklands Hospital on Lancaster Road - which is roughly a 14 minute drive away from The Quays.
And there are at least 19 doctor's surgeries in the area - including Salford Medical Centre on Langworthy Road and the Cornerstone Medical Practice on Liverpool Street.
